Why Feeling Stuck Doesn't Mean You're Lost

There comes a point in life when you realize you've been taking care of everyone else for so long that you've forgotten to ask yourself one simple question:
What do I want?
For many women—especially mothers and those in leadership roles—life becomes a cycle of responsibilities. We show up for our families, our careers, our communities, and our commitments. We become so good at carrying it all that we stop noticing we've put our own dreams on hold.
I know this because I've lived it.
For years, I believed I was on the right path. I invested in my personal growth, built confidence, and worked hard to create a meaningful life. But deep down, I knew something no longer aligned. I wasn't unhappy—I was simply becoming someone different than the person who created the life I was living.
That realization wasn't easy.. it required honesty, reflection, and the courage to admit that I wanted something more—not because what I had wasn't enough, but because I was growing.
Growth often feels uncomfortable before it feels exciting.
Being boldly aligned doesn't mean having all the answers. It means learning to trust yourself enough to ask better questions. It means making decisions that reflect your values instead of other people's expectations. It means giving yourself permission to dream again.
If you've been feeling stuck, uncertain, or disconnected from who you are, know this:
You're not behind. You're not failing. You may simply be standing at the beginning of your next chapter!

Such a powerful reminder. Sometimes feeling “stuck” isn’t a sign that we’ve lost our way—it’s an invitation to notice that we may have outgrown an old version of ourselves. Growth often begins in that uncomfortable space between what no longer fits and what hasn’t fully taken shape yet. Giving ourselves permission to pause, reconnect with our values, and ask “What do I want now?” can be the beginning of meaningful change. 💜
